The Grand Hotel Ala di Stura is a 3-star hotel located in Ala di Stura, a village in the Lanzo Valleys located 1100 metres above sea-level
The facility counts with 22 rooms able to accommodate up to 38 guests, 2 dining rooms with an overall seating capacity of 250, a congress hall, a playroom, a reading room with TV and piano, a cafeteria with porch, a large garden, a large parking and a 20-cars garage.
This is the perfect spot to relax and play sports. Indeed, our guests can peacefully admire the beauty of the surrounding unspoiled nature, sitting in the backyard or taking a quite walk, while mountain sport lovers can practice hiking, trekking and mountaineering at all levels.
The Stura torrent, with its fishing reserve, allows visitors to enjoy a wild fishing experience. Moreover, a torrent-running track is used as playground for mountain-bike races in summer time and in winter to practice cross-country skiing.
In the area, there is an ice-skating and a curling rink with natural ice and a chairlift provided with two tapis-roulants suitable for children, beginners and bobsledders.
Ala di Stura is rich of culture and an array of special tours have been designed to raise touristic awareness on the more than 80 sundials and dozens of frescoes scattered all over the historical boroughs and hamlets.
